Robert A. Kuhlman

Partner

Robert Kuhlman manages the Pemberville office and is a life-long resident of Northwest Ohio. He attended the University of Toledo, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1976. Mr. Kuhlman continued his legal education at the University of Toledo, where he received his J.D. from the College of Law in 1979, graduating cum laude. He was admitted to the bar in 1979, and has been practicing in Pemberville since that time.


Mr. Kuhlman is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and its Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law Section, and the Wood County Bar Association. Mr. Kuhlman also has served as the Village Solicitor in Woodville, Ohio since 1985, and as the Village Solicitor in Pemberville, Ohio since 2020. He has previously served as a member of the Eastwood Board of Education. Mr. Kuhlman married his wife, Pamela in 1980, has 3 adult children, and lives in rural Pemberville.


Mr. Kuhlman is a general practice attorney whose main practice areas include estate planning, probate, personal injury, and real estate.

Ladd W. Beck

Partner

Ladd Beck manages the Gibsonburg and Fremont offices and is a life-long resident of Northwest Ohio. He graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1972, and Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1976. Mr. Beck received his legal education at the University of Toledo, where he received his J.D. Degree from the College of Law in 1980, graduating cum  laude. He has been practicing law in Sandusky County as a partner in the firm since that time.


Mr. Beck is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and its Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law Section, and the Sandusky County Bar Association. He has also served as acting Judge in the Sandusky County Court, and the Village Solicitor for the Villages of Gibsonburg, Lindsey, Helena, and Burgoon. Mr. Beck is the founding trustee and current president of the Gibsonburg Educational Foundation, a local charity granting college scholarships to Gibsonburg High School graduates. Mr. Beck lives in Gibsonburg with his wife, Diane.

Jennifer N. Kuhlman

Associate Attorney

Jennifer Kuhlman is an associate attorney at the Pemberville office, and grew up in the community. She attended Miami University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2004. Ms. Kuhlman then worked in the advertising industry in both Cleveland, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois for five years before deciding to pursue her legal education. She received her J.D. from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law in 2013, graduating cum laude, and was admitted to the bar in 2013.


Ms. Kuhlman is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Wood County Bar Association, and has served on the Wood County Bar Association certified Grievance Committee. She is also a licensed title agent with First American Title Insurance Company, and has served as the Prosecutor for the Village of Pemberville since 2020. She currently lives in Perrysburg, Ohio with her husband and her daughter.

Brandon L. Beck

Partner

Brandon Beck is a partner who was admitted to the bar as an attorney and has been practicing law since 2012. He attended Miami University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in Education in 2009. Mr. Beck then obtained a legal education from Ohio Northern University, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctorate in 2012. While at Ohio Northern, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He was also a member of the Ohio Northern Law Review, where he contributed a published student comment entitled “Viability of Ohio Domestic Asset Protection Trusts: A Review of the Proposed Ohio Legacy Trust Act” (39 Ohio N.U.L. Rev.329- 358, 2012).


Mr. Beck is a member of the Sandusky County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a trustee of the Gibsonburg Educational Foundation and board member of the Sandusky County Law Library Resource Board. Mr. Beck currently lives in Gibsonburg with his wife and two kids, and is an active member of the community.
